Selective Transparency

ZkStable balances privacy with auditability through a layered transparency framework.

🔐 Private by Default

User identity, wallet addresses, deposit amounts, and transaction flows remain shielded using Zcash privacy cryptography.

No administrator, validator, sequencer, or indexer can deanonymize users.

🧾 Transparent When Required (DAO Controlled)

Under DAO governance approval, a selective audit can be triggered to:

  • Confirm global collateral levels

  • Confirm mint/burn activity integrity

  • Confirm no invalid or synthetic minting occurred

This does not reveal:

  • User identity

  • Individual balances

  • Transaction paths

🧠 Why This Matters

Unlike fully-private mixers or fully-transparent stablecoins, ZkStable maintains:

  • Regulatory readiness

  • User privacy

  • Institutional auditability
